Christmas gift to my special friend and sister, and . Merry Christmas!

Not quite as Christmas-y as all that other stuff you'll be seein' today...

But it still was a pic I labored long and hard on, so ya'all better enjoy it! X3

All those days I haven't submitted anything I was workin' on this instead. Introducing my first (technically) Photoshop painting!

...Still workin' out the kinks. X3 I'll keep tryin'.

Merry Christmas to ya'all! I hope that so far you're havin' a great holiday! So far, I have; apparently almost everyone detected my fondness for MLP and I got a few Pony merchandise (three Rainbowdash items-- two figures, one plush-- and a Crystal Empire version figure of Pinkie Pie and Applejack) and my want for a few more games for my old Gamecube (I got Sonic Adventure DX: Directors Cut). I got all sorts of other stuff as well, including a 2DS-- so I can finally move on into the Pokemon, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, and Sonic series!

Of course, I'm also enjoying time with family; the whole family played a Nerf gun war last night and watched a Muppet movie, and today we plan to play Disney Infinity sometime after we've played around with our other stuff and later on watch one of the six movies we got under the tree. XD So we're enjoying ourselves all the same, so don't ya worry 'bout it! I won't be gettin' another panic attack anytime soon!

Anywho, a little about this painting. The idea popped up after listenin' to a song called "This is My Wish" by Jordin Sparks (I have another pic inspired by that song coming soon) when envisioning a group of people releasing lanterns into the night like Sketch and Vermillion are doing here. I saw it as a beautiful idea, so I drew it. I added Lillian's dog, Hershey, into there for good measure (since she doesn't have a current Fursona out right now, he was the closest thing I could do). I cheated a bit and instead of getting that soft effect via painting, I used the smudge tool. X3 I'll keep practicin'! Heck, my next lil' pic might as well be painted, but I guess it all depends on what I decide to do first. X3

I guess I don't have much more to say other than Merry Christmas, my friends! I'll see about tryin' to do another Christmas pic today or tomorrow, but for now, I hope this'll do. X3 Enjoy!
