So yeah, I had another Lythian deity in mind.

Introducing Azriella, the Goddess of Death and Destruction and the sister of Shevyria, the Goddess of Aether and Rebirth, and High Goddess of the Lythians.

(yes, I changed Shevy's role as a goddess a bit)

she is associated with the power over darkness, destruction, and death, embodying the force of Dark Aether, as her sister is associated with Light Aether. but really she isn't evil, and has no hostile intentions. she often comes off as a mysterious deity, that many misunderstand her, regarding her as a malevolent deity, blindly believing that she created the Destroyer and unleashed it into the world thousands of years ago.

but in reality, Azriella is a benevolent goddess who guides the spirits of the dead to the afterlife, and uses her powers to destroy things in order to give Shevyria (as well as her reincarnations) a chance to bring forth rebirth.

thus, Shevyria is the preserver, and Azriella is the destroyer.

also, whenever her sister is reborn in a mortal Lythian's body, she gives out a part of her dark destructive power that lays dormant within his or her soul, until very dire situations come along.

the primary example of this is when Sophie's darkness was unleashed and took over her entire being, during the Eclipse of the Night of Eternal Darkness, one main factor that turned her into Dark Sophie.
