Description Two new OCs

Introducing Nami the gentle and pure hearted Mermaid and Irena, her tomboyish carefree human girlfriend.

I created these two based on a dream I had today. I don't remember much of it, but I do remember
this sky blue mermaid, and I was there with her. well, part of myself was with her, swimming underwater with her together.
I also remember her talking to me about something. and that's it. so I created the human OC, Irena.

(fun fact, Nami means Wave in Japanese, and Irena is my second name XD)

these two share quite a history together.

Irena met Nami at a young age in the Gulf of Mexico, and became close friends. very close in fact.
they got to know each other, they had things they love in common...such as music.
Nami loved singing and Irena always thought her voice was adorable and beautiful.
the mermaid's dream is to find love among the humans,
since she lived quite a lonely life underwater. and Irena was the first to understand how she feels.
little did they know that their bond slowly turns into that of love. Nami knew that Irena had a boyfriend
and she didn't want to interfere with their relationship. even though she herself felt...attracted to the human girl.

but then something happened that broke Irena's heart. her boyfriend recently committed suicide,
what's more, her friends abandoned her when she needed them the most, stating that her boyfriend's death
was all on her, causing the human to drown further in despair. Nami was greatly concerned for her human companion.
wanting to do something to help Irena at her darkest moment.
and then something in the mermaid's pure heart made itself known....Nami, loved Irena. but she wasn't
sure how she will react to her feelings towards her.

Irena's despair and regrets became so great she gave up on life itself, to the point she tried to commit suicide
by jumping down to the sea and disappear from this world forever. until Nami caught her before she reached the sea's floor, not wanting
her to die. she knew her heart belonged to her deceased boyfriend, and she
didn't want to make Irena feel even worse about herself. but she could not keep her feelings bottled
in. Nami brought Irena to the beach, and upon awakening she was confused and disoriented. why was she even alive?
her life had no meaning anymore, she said. this caused Nami to hug her tightly and tearfully stated that what Irena did really
stupid. Irena could only look at the mermaid as she had no words to say to her to excuse her actions.

Nami's tears were not for anyone, and certainly not herself...but for Irena. and only for her. this eventually led her
to confess her feelings to Irena, and looked down crying knowing she might reject her. Irena was beyond speechless
by the fact Nami had feelings for Irena all this time. seeing as Nami was the only one who understood her pain,
and saved her from her despair that almost led to her death. knowing her boyfriend would never want that for her.
and In response to Nami's act to save her life out of her love for her,
Irena returned those feelings, stating she will never leave her, and do something like that ever again. since she now sees Nami as a light that filled the
brokeness of her heart, and if she had any reason to live. it will be for Nami, and only Nami. then Irena buried her face on Nami's shoulder and cried,
releasing all the toxic feelings that held her captive, with Nami holding her close to herself, never wanting to let go of her.
and from there, they began their romantic relationship.

if Irena ever feels sad, she will have her mermaid girlfriend to comfort her.

(The seashell necklace around Irena's neck is a symbol of her promise to the mermaid, to live and see the beauty in life and be by her side.
Nami has one too, as a symbol of her love for Irena and a reminder of the bond they share. the destinies of the human and the mermaid have been
linked together, never to be seperated.)

(I did this while listening to this: www.youtube.com/watch?v=n0sSDG… )

Hope U Like!

both OCs belong to ME!

Ya know, I love those moments when you can make up certain characters based on naught but a dream and some music and your own fantasy

You're a sensitive gal, Sophie. (and that's a good thing as far as I know)

And some nice music also! (I love Celtic music ya know ^^)

Nice! I'd love to hear more about it actually

(just before I forget, about the story you wrote here, I'm just gonna be truthful with you - please, I have no intention of being judgmental, but what is a friend that doesn't tell the truth, ye know? As such, do you think God agrees on the more-or-less lesbian side of things? I know you may have other thoughts on that, but I thought as a friend I want to be also truthful to you.)

(well...I don't know, really. to be honest, I already know what you're gonna say,
and  you know I want nothing to do with anything related to christianity anymore after all the
BS I went through because of it. no offense.
but I will listen nonetheless, just don't go too far with it okay?

but to answer your question, I do not think the original greek/hebrew bible refers to condemning same sex monogamous relationships in general. if there's anything God
hates about it, It goes more to the direction of temple prostitution and having sex as a form of worship and service to pagan gods.

The Bible has nothing positive to say about shrine prostitutes, aka cult or temple prostitutes.

'cause Shrine prostitution was a wide-spread religious phenomenon back in the Era of the old/new testament. in other words, those scriptures that seem to condemn homosexuality in the modern bibles, are NOT towards gays or lesbians in loving monogamous relationships. those words never even existed back then. the people Moses and Paul were referring to when it comes to same sex love, were shrine prostitutes. which brings us to another mistranslation of the bible; the word Homosexuality.  because Paul could have used many words if he intended to blast gays and lesbians. Yet Paul used none of those available words, choosing instead the word, arsenokoitai. which, yet again only refers to shrine prostitutes of any kind.)

Alright, you honestly don't know. I find that quite acceptable, really.
You think you know what I'm gonna say? Hmm, we'll see.

Anyway, I haven't quite heard the term Shrine prostitution before, but I guess it's with, just for one example, Roman stuff eh? I mean, Rome itself was nothing short of a prostitute haven. Sure it had wonderful works, but just as much (and increasing) wickedness and idolatry.  Is that what you were referring to?

I'm just curious to know though, how did you come to this knowledge?
Like, you said Moses and Paul were referring to shrine-prostitute homosexuality, right? I'm not saying you're wrong nor right, I'm just curious where you found that knowledge

(and yes, dear friend, I know you've had some real BS from religion - I can honestly feel it through the very words you type here, believe it or not. And I wish you hadn't gone through that, but things are as they are. What matters is your relationship with Yeshua, right?)

SonicSpyroNiGHTS-Fan In reply to Truth-lover3712 [2018-08-31 13:18:22 +0000 UTC]

Yes, I believe it goes more to the direction of Idolatry.
(and  in some cases, adultery as well )
Rome was a haven for prostitutes alright. it was both good
and bad at the same time.

I've come to know all this by the crazy ass research I did XD
I watched some vids that compare modern english scriptures
with original greek and hebrew scriptures. and I saw a lot of differences
between the original and modern language.  and I also looked up what's the difference
between Lesbians and Gays and Shrine prostitutes.

And I typed the Greek words Arsenokoitai (and Malakoi) and  Homosexuality to see
the differences behind their true  meanings.
While the Bible DOES reject lustful same-sex behavior, that’s very different from a condemnation of all gay people and relationships
in general. 'cause, ya know...there is a huge difference between love and lust.
for example,  many christians use the story of sodom and gomorrah to justify their persecution of LGBT people.
but little do they know that this story is about the citizens of sodom trying to gang rape two male angels.
there is no  mention of a same sex relationship. and the word ''Sodomite'' comes from the hebrew word ''quedesh''
which means shrine prostitute. a shrine prostitute was a male or female who offered themselves sexually
for the worshipping practices of pagan fertility gods. the bible is very clear that sodom and her surrounding neighbouring cities
were destroyed because the people there didn't take care of the poor and the needy. they were also described as being arrogant
overfed and inhospitable. another example is the word ''Abomination'' in Leviticus 18:21-22. it translates from the hebrew word
''toevah'', which referred mostly to Idolatry. men who were having sex with male shrine prostitutes were comitting toevah
in the eyes of the Lord.

(Yeah, I pretty much walked through hell on earth because
of man made doctrines of religion.  certainly not a pleaseant experience >_<'
and since I was heavily traumatized by religion's doctrines, I don't trust most christians
that easily anymore. since most of them are just wolves in sheep's clothing, and only
few can be trusted.  I sometimes can't tell which christian is a friend and which
one is an enemy. I am now an eternal enemy of the christian religion.
but my relationship with Yeshua is the only thing that matters most above
all else when it comes down to this.)

then again, even I'm not saying I'm right and you're wrong as well.
I don't want to force you to believe what I'm saying.
I'm only sharing  knowledge that I found in the midst of the chaos
and storm I was in. you know what they say;

Ignorance keeps you bound, but Knowledge sets you free.

I mean, It is the honor of kings/leaders to seek the truth about some matters.
and only those who truly love truth will work like world champions in order to find truth.
even if its against what is acceptable by most people within religious institutions.

Well, some good references there.

You know, about the 'Christians using Sodom and Gomorrah' as means to persecute homosexuals (and bisexuals), I wouldn't count myself among them. Such people they use scripture as a means to bring across their judgments, but is it not God who judged Sodom and Gomorrah? Who are we to condemn others then? That's my perspective.
But to take that even further, I always think of what Jesus would do when He meets LGBT people. Would He condemn them to Hell (as a matter of speech), would he boom-smack several chapters of scriptures in their faces? Or would He show the Father's love?
I think most people know the answer, but some would refuse to change their own ways.
Basically, it comes down to this for me. What Jesus has said matters much more to me than what other people say.

And hey Sophie, like everybody else I think we can agree to disagree on a few things here and there, but I don't want a friendship to break up because certain thoughts are different. I personally am open to correction, which comes from truth. So I'll gladly hear what you have to say about it, and see no reason to break up a friendship just because what you say is unlike what I believe or new to me.

What matters in a good friendship the most to me, is do we seek to obey the same Lord. Do we humbly admit the fact that we can be wrong, and when Jesus corrects us we will submit to it? If so, I can't ask for more

And in truth, I'm glad you found the courage to share this with me. I know it may have been uneasy for you, not knowing how I'd respond. But I just want to say thank you for sharing what you have done

no problem, man. it would be really stupid to end our friendship just because we have different perspectives on things.
honestly, I've had to pay a heavy price when I rejected the doctrine of eternal Hell and left christianity behind.
and yes, I do find it quite difficult to share my thoughts with other christians because of recent experiences. >_<

but as a spiritual seeker, and as a member of the body of christ, I wanna thank you for listening and understanding.

Yea, there's a spiritual war going on alright. Can't get things perfect, we get things wrong even if we think we got it right; and some who don't deserve it get hurt and those that deserve it go free. As J.R.R. Tolkien once stated, "Some that live deserve death; some that die deserve life; yet do not be too quick to deal out judgment of life and death, for even the wisest cannot see all ends." (except, of course, God)

Hey, that's what friends are for, sis. They stick together whatever the circumstances. And like I think it was Paul said, if one member of the body suffers so does the whole body; and if one member is honoured, so the whole body rejoices. (1 Corinthians 12:26)
Therefore, those that are of the Body of Christ look after one another unconditionally.

even if we walk on different roads, and even if our views are quite different, you will always be my friend.
