----Basic Plot From my Frined Mouse on FanFic/DevanArt--

Fansty RP
Long ago, in a medieval-era world filled with fantasies one could only imagine, there was once a proud and magnificent kingdom known by those who dwelled within as the Imperial Kingdom. Ruled by a benevolent queen, the kingdom was peaceful and prosperous. Laws were just and orderly, business was clean and fair, and every villager could live in peace knowing that no evil could ever corrupt their tranquil province. However, the winds of change began to blow. Not many years passed, and the beloved queen of the land, Aleena, gave birth to two heirs to the throne-- a pair of twin hedgehogs, one a prince with fur as blue as deep sapphires, and the other a princess with fur as vivid yellow as golden rays of sunshine.

The entire kingdom rejoiced at this momentous event, and the young heirs were given the names Maurice and Maria, respectively. After a while, the two grew into energetic young toddlers, either being able to run with speed unmatched by any other. Aleena was proud of her young children, but since she was responsible for the matters of her kingdom, was often unable to spend much time with them. Maurice and Maria were thusly left in the care of Aleena's lady-in-waiting, an attractive young female black hedgehog named Dark.

Unfortunately, one cannot judge a book by its cover. Although Dark was fair to look upon, she masked her true personality behind a facade of compassion and generosity. In truth, her only desire was to rid herself of Queen Aleena and seize the crown for herself. Dark began to plot with other rebels who believed Aleena was too lenient with the people, and after years of waiting and concealing her murderous schemes, she and the other radicals designated a night on which they would launch a coup. The attack caught the royals completely off-guard. Dark and her mob raided the castle while Aleena and the young heirs slept. While the other rebels stalled the guards and pushed even deeper into the castle, Dark wasted no time in dispatching of her rival. Aleena attempted to summon the guards to her aid, but by then it was too late.

The former lady-in-waiting tackled the queen to the ground and finished it off quickly with a stab of her knife. Meanwhile, the other rebels had managed to successfully weaken the castle's defenses. Dark exited Aleena's chambers swiftly and ordered an immediate evacuation of the building now that her work was completed. While her men escaped with the loot they had ransacked the castle of, Dark came upon the chambers in which the two heirs had been sleeping and were now upsetfully crying for their mother. Dark, of course, had no intention in allowing anything that might trip up her plot to steal the throne to continue living. She stole the upset children from their rooms and left the castle, satisfied that her scheme to get revenge on Aleena had succeeded. Once escaped to the Dark Forest, which lay surrounding the outskirts of the kingdom, Dark found that she could not keep two crying infants with her if she intended to stay in hiding.

She headed to a darker, more remote area, of the forest, and drew her knife, ready to finish them both off. Before she could lower the blade, however, she was stopped by a pleading protest behind her. A young white hedgehog named Silver, who had been present at the coup, had followed her secretly. He begged Dark to spare their lives, reasoning with her that they were innocent children and did not deserve to suffer such an untimely fate. Dark was unconvinced that the two heirs were innocent, but somehow Silver managed to persuade her to allow them to live. Dark reluctantly decided to separate the two, sending one man away with Maurice and another man away with Maria.

Maurice was taken far away from the Imperial Kingdom, to another land where the people were not as prosperous and yet still content. The blue hedgehog was left on the doorstep of an elderly couple who ran a small farm of their own, and was consequently raised there until adulthood. As for the young princess, Dark was still too vengeful to let the female offspring of her most hated rival to get off so easily. Maria was left somewhere on the streets of a small village in the Imperial Kingdom to die. Now that the ruler who had made the Imperial Kingdom so prosperous was dead, the kingdom itself was left to fall into chaos. The entire kingdom went into an uproar during the few years following Aleena's death. Many argued who should be next in line for the throne, and others bickered that they no longer needed a ruler. No one could decide for sure, and every life that dwelled in the kingdom was lived in fear without the protection of the benevolent queen.

Fifteen years passed, and the Imperial Kingdom had completely fallen into ruin. Taxes were mercilessly unleashed on unfortunate villagers by cruel nobles who had taken positions as lawmakers of the land. Many who were unable to pay their taxes were sent to jail. Others were fortunate enough to remain in their homes on the streets, despite the homes being broken-down shacks. Without a proper system of government, the once-prosperous Imperial Kingdom was left to suffer from poverty. However, the unjust ruling of the land helped people realize that what the kingdom needed was true justice. Small groups were arranged to help fight for the cause of the needy, one such group being the Thieves' Guild, which was led by a skilled and compassionate thief who went by the name of the Grey Fox.

These groups were naturally forced to keep their hideouts hidden due to the fact that they would be arrested if discovered by the cruel nobles' soldiers, but they continued to spread as much justice throughout the kingdom by stealing from the rich nobles and giving back to the poor. Soldiers began to crack down hard thusly, keeping vigil for the appearance of master thieves like the Grey Fox and posting wanted posters on every tree and building. They had yet to capture one, though. And in the midst of this turmoil, another group known as the Supression Squad hid out in the Dark Forest, likely being descendants or the actual rebels who had taken part in the coup that had brought about the overthrow of the Imperial Kingdom's government. Their leader was a powerful brute named Dexter, who had currently been training a new recruit-- a young yellow hedgehog which a certain thief had discovered being left to die on the corner of a street in the village.

As the years passed, the yellow hedgehog, whom they had nicknamed Light, in honor the vivid color of her golden fur, grew into a swift, skilled 17-year-old master thief. Being the only female member of the Supression Squad, she was subjected to many unfair orders from her leaders, at one point even being threatened severe injuries if she did not carry out their wishes. Light came to understand the cruel ways of people like those who followed in the Supression Squad, and one night made a sneaky getaway from the Dark Forest and into the Imperial Kingdom. As Light began to join the cause of the Thieves' Guild and steal from the rich in order to give the poor alongside the Grey Fox, another visitor had entered the kingdom. Tired of rural life in his own quiet country, a mysterious blue hedgehog with the ability to run at the speed of sound had decided to make his home in the Imperial Kingdom. Teamed up with his close friend, a young two-tailed fox named Tails, and another thief, a wolf named Hector, this hedgehog, who was nicknamed by those who knew him as Sonic, in honor of his incredible speed, also began to quietly fight for the freedom of innocents suffering in the streets of the villages.
