Sonic: Nazo Unleashed was my childhood, at the time it was like a legitimate story for sonic and friends. It introduced the use of the chaos emeralds in a new way, aka Fusion. It's a typical story that the protagonists need to fuse in hopes to defeat the main antagonist.

Here I tried drawing the final form of Shadic - Hyper, it surprisingly turned out quite okay (at my standards), but now in 2022 I look back it need some work for improvement but that's a story for another day.
