That was intense.

I've been wanting to draw Janet as Moana/Vaiana since the moment I watched the movie...and I finally had the inspiration, the energy and the time to do it!

Janet's feelings towards the sea and water in general are really strong: I'm sure she definitely felt exactly how Moana/Vaiana felt, and that's why, in my headcanon, she even spent several years at sea along with Grace O'Malley. She learnt how to swim really quickly and at a really young age, and she's never felt afraid of deep water.

Man now that it's finished I could spend hours looking at it while listening to "How far I'll go"

I'll probably make a bonus pic with Oliver/Gareth (= The-Manticore 's Wales OC) running towards her in absolute panic and anger to take her far from the dangerous sea. The island gives you what you need, Janet.
