Im not sure, MLP ponies cant be very fat, they looks sad, sick and disabled when they are morbidly obese. But moderate overweight makes them cute.

That too round belly bothers me too, i thought that i do a stronger and less lardy figure but i have not drawn any equines ay this angle. My other creatures are far rounder.
