Description: I grew accustomed to drawing cartoon-ish cats, so I pushed myself out of my comfort zone and practiced realistic depictions of cats. I draw cat faces in my series cat mania, as referenced from a tutorial book exclusively dedicated to learning how to draw cats. While these pieces may lack originality, they are essential in improving my technical skill for creative artworks.

Like a few other pieces in my animal studies collections, I endeavor to depict animals straightaway through ink pen. That would be true mastery if I can draw without sketched line guides, and so far, I have succeeded.
