I see these two as just being friends. I'd bet money DD has been the best dressed carapace his whole life and meeting someone with exceptional fashion sense, like Dad's, is simply inspiring to him. It's nice to meet someone you can look up to and share a common interest with. But to actually ship a relationship like this is as silly as the internet shipping ME with Andrew Hussie!

You are absolutely correct. My apologies. None of my friends know what Homestuck is so I tend try to open discussions about it with anyone who actually know what the heck I'm talking about. (Kind of like Eridan, except with unwanted conversations instead of romantic advances!) But you're right, I was out of line. Please consider my previous post negated and replaced with a more appropriate response of, "I truly think your artwork is fantastic."

This deviation has confirmed one of two parts of my hypothesis (The other part was confirmed a long time ago)
1. If an author draws/writes about two characters being in the same room together, with no romantic implications whatsoever, some shippers will ship it.
2. If two characters exist in the same story, they will be shipped by some shippers.
(I saw JadexVriska once, despite jade having never met Vriska. I don't even think she knows she exists!)
