A young grackle fell out of a nest in our yard and it was trying to fly but it couldn't get far off the ground. When it finally made it to a low part of a tree, it let me get close and I got this picture (along with some other pictures that didn't turn out as good.)My dad got it to climb on his finger and he put it in a tree, so it's okay now I hope.

Trust me, you DON'T want to take it in and feed it. My family and I tried to save a baby robin back in 2003 and it died because we couldn't be at home. We were successful for a week, and we taught it to fly and fed it every day, but then we couldn't possibly feed it.
