Description
After Castiel allows himself to he captured by the Cavalry he gets his mane cut but he doesn't allow them to shoe him or brand him. He's placed into a corral with other stallion and almost instantly befriends a black stallion, Thorn.

Cas snorted at the humans as they lead him into the corral. He trotted in and looked around searching for the horse he had been send there to protect. He noticed a black stallion with scars all over his dark coat watching him. He walked over still looking around. "Hey you new here?" the stranger asked. "Yes," said Castiel nodding to the stallion still looking around. "I'm Thorn...you looking for someone?" he said noticing Cas look around. Cas turned and looked at Thorn. "Castiel but you can me Cas." he said smiling at Thorn. "So," Thorn said nodding. "Who are you looking for?" Castiel's blue eyes moved from horse to horse. "I don't know yet...but I know they're here." Thorn looked at the stallion as though he was crazy. "And how do you expect to find this mystery horse?" he asked curiously. "I'll know em when I see em." he said. A sudden commotion at the entrance caught the stallions attention. The men were struggling to bring in a new horse. A brown paint mare who was putting up quite the fight. She tossed two men aside like they were nothing, stamping her hooves and letting out threatening whinnies. As Castiel and Thorn moved a little closer to get a better look Cas was hit with a sudden unexplainable wave. He blinked in confusion and looked up at the paint mare. "That's her...she's the one." he said his blue eyes mesmerized by the mare. "How do you know?" asked Thorn glancing from Cas to the unknown mare. "Trust me," he said smiling not taking his eyes off her. "That's her."
