I seem to remember a lot of old things when viewing your work and this is no exception, it would appear! This time I'm reminded of the books I read on zoology when I was a wee tadpole of a person.
You definitely have technical proficiency with animals and of that there can be no doubt. Of course, I'm thankful that your talent doesn't end there, either. You're quite creative and good at mixing elements of numerous species together without making any particular part look unnatural, I applaud that.
This image wouldn't have looked out of place with the illustrations in those books I used to read, and it's a fair deal more imaginative than a lot of those were, to be sure.
All in all, another great piece!

Iβve just started recently playing with pencils my self..^^ Really nifty stuff!! Iβv finally got my first FaberCastellβs pencils Set (15 pieces),.. O_oβ Thatβs a really big range of shading btw!! But I guess u already know that..^^ uβr way more advanced than I am o.o

Actually you might be surprised to know that I only used two types of pencils
0.5 mech pencil and a layout pencil... ^^ the softness was achieved with a
tortillion, or a shadestick..yeah hardcore! If you ever need help feel free
to ask!

Anyhow.., just before me getting my FCβs pencils set, I bought that book about pencil techniques!! Really awesome stuff inside *nods*. So, though this may sound kindβa lame (coz me being Newbie and stuff).., but maybe at some point I could help ya a bit <^/.^

Sure! Pencil techniques are difficult to master... In my sketchbook I prefer this
method of shading. In my art class I have to pursue other methods and
medium so I definatly know other techniques... I am lazy in my Sketchbook though!!!! Thanks for the offered help though!
