Description
I was lying on my bed in the bunker when I heard the flapping of wings. I sighed and began to give Cas the door lecture.

"For goodness sake Cas there is this wonderful invention called the do-"

"Oh I know, but just because it's there doesn't mean I have to use it." I shot up at the unfamiliar voice and turned to see a short man with twinkling eyes, brown hair and a lollipop in his mouth smirking at me. "Oh, and I'm not Cassie."

"Who are you then?" I demended, moving so my bed was between me and the stranger.

"They call me Gabriel. And what about you?" My eyes widened as I remembered all that Sam and Dean had told me about the archangel turned trickster.

"Y-You're the trickster?! You're the one who turned Sam into the Impala!"

"Ha-ha! And I put him in a herpes advert. You should have seen their faces! Priceless!" Gabriel giggled plopping himself down cross-legged on my bed, signalling for me to take a seat and offering me a lollipop. "You can sit down you know, I won't harm you in any way."

"How can I trust you?"

"Well you have no reson not to."

"You harmed Sam and Dean!"

"Not you though." He retorted before adding; "and I didn't hurt them for no reason." I sighed before taking a seat and the lollipop. His face lit up and I couldn't help but smile shyly back.

"So what's your name, Gorgeous?" Gabriel asked and causing me to blush at the nickname.

"_____." I answered shyly.

"____... That's a beautiful name. It suits you."

"Thank you. So what brings you here?" I asked and he shrugged nonchalantly.

"I came to see the Winchesters, but when I realised they weren't in I thought I would finally introduce myself to you." He explained.

"What do you mean, finally?" I asked and he looked at me intently.

"Well both the Winchesters and Cassie have mentioned you on numerous occasions, and I thought I'd see what the fuss was about. I'm glad I did." I blushed once more and Gabriel chuckled. "You're so cute."

After that, Gabriel came to visit me everyday, always flirting with me lightly, bringing me small presents and making me laugh. We had become firm friends, and I was even beginning to fall in love with the adorable archangel, though I suppressed my feelings due to me being a human and coming from a different background to Gabriel.

"Hey Gorgeous." I smiled to myself as I turned around to face the grinning archangel who had a present in his hands. "For you, Gorgeous." He said winking at me as I took it.

"Gabe, I really do appreciate the presents, but they really aren't necessary." I said as I let him lead me to the bed.

"Y-You mean you don't like them? I can get you another one if that's the case!" He quickly added, his whisky eyes full of worry.

"No! No I love them! It's just you don't need to bring them, so why do you?" Relief filled his eyes at my words and the smile came back on his face. He wrapped an arm around my shoulders and placed a kiss on my forehead.

"I do it because I want to and I can." He answered but I shook him off, not accepting his answer.

"Why though? You must understand that it's not natural for friends to get each other presents everyday." I felt him tense and he looked at the floor.

"It's an archangel thing." He muttered before leaving without a goodbye and leaving me in an air full of confusion at his sudden departure. I then decided to turn to Cas for help.

"Hey Cas, it's _____. I just wondered if you could spare me a minute as I have some questions that I would like answering." I prayed and straight away there was a flapping of wings and Cas appeared before me, a smile on his face.

"Hello ____, how may I be of assistance?"

"Well I was in the library the other day, and I read something about archangels giving humans presents each day, but I wasn't sure what that meant. Please could you enlighten me?" I asked and Cas frowned in thought.

"Well, it is not limited to archangels but all angels, and they don't have to give presents to humans, it can be to any living creature. But is basically means they want to court you." My eyes widened and I couldn't talk. All this time Gabriel... He loved me? The thought had never occurred but when I thought about it it made perfect sense, from his presents to his willing to please me, to the small affections he gave me.

"_____? Are you still with me?"

"Gabriel... He..." Cas's eyes widened as he realised I had lied to him and when he realised the actual situation.

"Gabriel has been giving you presents and things hasn't he?" Cas asked and I nodded, the information still sinking into my mind. "It's your choice at the end if the day, but just now that Gabriel will never hurt you in any way, shape or form, and he is the best mate you could have and the one you deserve." I smiled and hugged my friend.

"Thank you Cas."

"Gabriel, please come and hang out with me. It's been days, and I really miss you." I called and Gabriel appeared before me.

"Hello ____." I was shocked by his appearance. His hair was disheveled and his eyes held no gleam, just a deep seated sadness. His mouth wasn't held in a smirk but in a frown, and he wouldn't look me in the eyes.

"Oh Gabriel... I'm so sorry." I whispered, moving and giving him a hug. "I-I know why you have been giving me presents and things, and I've been thinking about my answer, and I have reached a conclusion." He pulled back and his eyes locked on mine, a twinkle of hope coming back into them.

"I love you ____, and I want to spend forever with you. Please tell me you feel the same..." Gabe pleaded and I smiled, tangling my fingers in his hair.

"I love you to Gabe." I whispered before placing my lips on his. He froze at first, but it wasn't long before his arms wrapped around mine and he was kissing me softly back. He tasted of candy, and his lips were soft and warm. Gabriel asked permission before I let him enter my mouth and I felt a warmth surround me. When I pulled away for air I gasped on wonder at the six golden wings protruding from Gabriel's back, the light from them making him look like he was wearing a halo. "Gabe... They... They're beautiful!" I whispered as I ran my hand down one as Gabriel pulled me closer. I felt him purr and lie down on the bed, placing gentle kisses on my face.

"Will you spend forever with me?' He asked and I nodded, leaning down and placing another loving kiss on his neck. His wings wrapped around me and pulled me so I was lying in his side, my head on his chest.

"Of course I'll spend forever with you Gabe, you're my best friend and I love you!" I chirped and he chuckled, bringing my lips to his for one last kiss before sleep over came me. It was that moment, as I lay in his arms and in the warmth of his wings, that I knew he was all mine and I was all his, and no one would (or could!) tear us apart.
