L'aurore pointait à peine en cette douce matinée,Par çi, par là les premières feuilles mortes tombaient,
Ponctuant de leurs notes une délicate mélodie,
Seulement audible pour les plus attentifs,
Et aux créatures de la forêt,
Comme un aurevoir aux derniers jours d'été...

Dawn just shown itself in this sweet morning,
First autumn leaves was falling,
Punctuating by their notes a soft melody,
Hearing only by the most careful,
And of the forest's living,
As a farewell to the last days of summer ...
