I really enjoyed painting this.I wanted to portray the loss of innocence within childhood.
I tried a number of different tools in Photoshop... and really
took my time with it. It's a big departure from the original
photo, so I'm pretty happy with the end result.

Gorgeous! I like how everything is blurred, except for the face, so it makes it jump off the screen. Nice effect. And I love that I'm getting a feeling of sadness and coldness whenever I look at it. ^^

This is beautiful, unusual, and even though I don't feel qualified to critique this, I don't think it needs anything done to change it.
There is a sweet and innocent aspect that this has and I think it is very lovely.
