Naked Monkey: Uh, Boss? This has got to be the stupide-Boss Kim: Shush.
A4 Sketch Pad Paper, No1 Pencil, Painter IX
Man, this pic took me almost 8 hours of work. Nonetheless it went well. This serves as my entry to the ~KimPossible contest.
Its a fusion of the best stealth-based game ever and the best cartoon to show on Disney Ch.
Also, If anyone can guess what weapon Ron is holding, they get a pat on the back.
UPDATE: 04.03.06 Contest has ended and guess what? 2nd Place! Not quite what i had expected from all the work I put into the image, but I wasn't chasing after the prize. I actually got to meet a lot of people because of the submission and thats quite good enough.

I love this work, one of my first colored deviations when I started out in DA. Still, it feels weird putting a cheery kid like Ron into the jump suit of a totured soul like Naked Snake.

Thats always an annoying aspect of KP fanart, or in fanart in general, really random works. If you replace their KP characters with ordinary ones, the work would stil stand, and that s just wrong.

Thanks for pointing that out. I only really noticed that now.
Actually, the left-handed part was just a compensation to create some sense of balance in the work. If Ron were right-handed, most of his left arm will be blocking the weapon. If Kim were right handed, the work will be out of balance with two weapons on the left.
If you look closer, I've used the triangle as a composition guide for the work. Here are some signs:
1) The tip of the tree, connect to the bases of the work
2) The three mountains in the background. (They look like mountains at least to me)
3) From the pistol's tip along the arm hugging the doll to Rufus' head up Kim's left arm all the way to the pistol tip.

Actually I did notice that, surprisingly enough; I just didn't think to put it in the comments. hmm... What if the picture was inverted, so that Ron is on the right. Do you think that would work or not?

I took your suggestion and inverted it with me graphics software. It looked far more natural with the right-handed characters, but then Ron's darkend left eye switched to the right! I intended that darkened area as another MGS3 allusion, the largest eye darkened so it'll be more noticeable to the viewer.
The inversion may work far better, but I like this version. But thanks for the suggestion.

Now, in Operation: Monkey Eater, he must fight the Gorilla Unit, destroy the Shagohod, and finally kill his Mentor, Boss Kim, whose defection carries a greater purpose. NOW that, is so the drama!
