This is totally hypothetical, she is not dead is not going to die anytime soon. I've just been having a rough time lately, i've had no inspiration either.I figure she is looking up at Voicestar and is saying, "I told you I would die for Willowclan." Her throat is slit, no way to survive.
I really wanna know you're guy's reactions. You can either express it through your characters or just saying it yourself but please comment. I spent a ton of time on this.

Voicestar looked down at the she-cat he had called to be his deputy so many moons ago. The blood was pooling around her body quickly and he knew she didn't have much time. "Embertail," he whispered. "You were not only my deputy but a friend I could turn to in my time of need. StarClan will welcome you with open paws, I just wish it wasn't so soon. Thank you for your sacrifice for WillowClan, for me. Watch over and guide us from the stars." Nuzzling her cheek Voicestar could feel the final breath leave her as her head fell away from his. Blood streaked down the scared half of his face making it look as if his old wounds had reopened, and in a way they had.

I can't imagine how Stormleap would react.
I think it's ironic that the eye that is scarred over on Ember is the one Voice has. So it's like in her death she is almost mocked because she wanted to be leader too

This is amazing and at first when I saw this I was like..."Nooo! She can't be dead!" Then I read the description and found out she is alive just a random pic. ^-^"

Quilleye felt like running to her, felt like cleaning each and every one of her wounds and tell her that it was all going to be alright; but even half-blind he could see the massive gauge ripping her throat in two, and the blood that coursed viscously through her silvery-white pelt and stuck the fine hairs together dripped not only with life, but also with death; yes, the smell of death was thick in the air, and it choked the tom, making him feel sick to his stomach. He looked at her sadly, then dropped his head in a sort of bow to death, ears laying back against his head...and even as the she-cat breathed her last few, strangled breaths, Quilleye prayed that her journey to Starclan would be a safe one.
Yeah, I don't think Quilleye ever met Embertail in any roleplays...but I imagine he would act in a similar way even if it were a cat from a completely different clan, so it's pretty accurate. I'm sorry you've been having such a rough time as of late; if you ever need a slight stranger to just sit and listen while you rage or what have you, I'm your doc. ;D

Embertail watched as Quilleye sat respectively and prayed. She chuckled a sad gurgling laugh. "Quilleye, c..come here," her voice quiet and her one working eye looked at him. "You are a st..rong warrior. Take care of Willowclan f..for me," she smiled a sweet smile.
