Deviant Art may be the only place where I can link my fic The Golden Quiche without fearing some site censorship.I made this picture a week or two ago and then... I completely forgot to upload it here. Oops. It's a quick doodle of a concept.
In my story The Golden Quiche, Papyrus is often equated to a warm glowing sun. It’s both a good and a dangerous thing: the presence of light threatens those who like darkness. If evil hearts can’t make the light go away, they will try to destroy it.
To quote some parts of Chapter 100:
“Does this feel familiar to you? It should. There is a spirited young man who’s always believed in you. And yet… your rampant RESETS dragged him away from the sun. Imprisoned him back under the Earth, and set his head on a guillotine with your name on it. You ended his life. Again and again.”
“Yet, despite everything, he still believed in you.”
“You ignored his pleas! You ignored his warnings! You treated him as though he’s a forgettable child when he’s doing his damndest to save you!” “Yet, despite everything. He. Still. Believed!”
