Seen a bit of 3, Watched a lot of 4, Hopefully gonna play 5!
Persona 5's character resembles Harry Potter, bringing back childhood memories, getting me hyped for 5.

Minato Arisato/Makoto Yuki: Persona 3's protagonist. Uses a special gun to summon his Persona. Weapon of choice: Varies, but offically one handed swords. Special power: Experiences the Dark Hour, Wild Card.
Yu Narukami: Persona 4's protagonist. Uses cards to summon his Persona. Weapon of choice: Longswords. Special Power: Can travel to the TV World, Wild Card.
???: Persona 5's protagonist. Uses ??? to summon Personas. Weapon of choice. ??? Special Power: Apparently sees giant blue flames in the middle of a crowd of unsuspecting people? Can free people from the chains tying them to the world, apparently giving them a reason to live life to the fullest. (Based on what we've heard about the game so far.)
I'm expecting big things from this guy.Β

Haha, I'm really curious to see what exactly his character is going to be like b/c Minato was mainly just "..." but Souji/Yu actually had a lot more character in his dialogue choices~

Actually, I think someone did a tally for most used dialogue options in P3 and 4. I think Minato's was "Whatever." and Yu's was "Calm Down."

I can't wait to see the supports in that game, I have a feeling they're going to be more "realistic" considering how much more realistic he looks than Minato and Yu

Well, people in Japan are kinda weird, and those less than realistic looks the older ones had might have just been fads(consider Yu is from the city, and Minato/Makoto is from a much bigger city). Though I'd also say that the original 3 protagonists were a bit normal as well. Tatsuya is about as normal as P5(given he's a bit more all natural and away from the school fighter). Maya looks normal enough except she's dressed weird, but I'd say trending fad for a reporter to mimic a superhero. Then P1's protagonist is also pretty well normal, he's just got an earring.
Considering Yu and Minato are just the odd ones out and I think this change will pull Persona back to its roots and blend the old and the new perfectly.

Haha I could see that, and yeah I've never played P1 or 2 but the characters there seemed more "realistic" to me? (well mainly regarding their appearances, I found P4's characters really realistic personality wise)
I sure hope so! P5 seems to have more a P1 and P2 feel from what I've seen so far~
