My OC Oshawott character, Ollie Shellington ^^

Entry for 's Mijumaru OC Contest

Backstory:

Rai and his team were travelling on Route 224, and wanted to take a break, so they stopped at the beach area. After a while they noticed something strange, a Shellder with strange markings on it, like Yuri, Rai's Bellossom, it was half normal and half shiny, and a strange Pokemon that even Rai's Pokedex couldn't identify.

Toge, Rai's Lucario and official translator of the group, talked to them and found out that the Pokemon is from the region of Unova, but it found it's way to this region and befriended the Shellder, Shellington. He went by Ollie.

Once the mystery was solved (more or less) they all began to play together, and in fact they all grew quite attached to eachother over the next few days, that is until a rampaging Dragonite shows up. It uses Hyper Beam on sight of them, aiming directly at Rai. However (here is the sad part) Ollie and Shellington had grown attached to the others SO much they jumped in front of the Hyper Beam.

Now this is more like the Pokemon manga where Pokemon can die.....and I am sure everyone has figured it out. Shellington was fatally wounded (he took the brunt of the attack because he thought his Iron Defense would hold out (cept he doesn't really understand that only helps with physical moves) , so Ollie took some of the attack but it was enough to shatter his shell. The shards of the shell puncture him and he begins bleeding out. Before Shellington dies he makes it known he wants his shell to be used to help Ollie from now on. Ollie agrees to accept his best friends final wish.

Rai is able to bandage up Ollie, but Shellington dies. However, before his soul had moved on Toge took Shellington's soul (using...the AURA! ) and put it in Ollie's body.

So now he is slightly schizophrenic. xD Not really though, they just both inhabit the body. And the results of the whole soul addition is what caused all the changes to Ollie's physical appearance. You can tell which is in control of the body (only one controls hence schizo xD , but they both can think simultaneously) by where the orange marking are, on his main body or his shell.

PHEW! xD Ok I'm done rambling now xD
