Well I am quite a big reader, I tend to read stuff like lord of the rings,
It take a lot of time, patience and cups of tea for me to Finnish a book

Lord of the rings is amazing, the amount of world building Tolkien did is incredible, I kind of want to do that with my own fantasy and SciFi worlds, but many not quite to that extent

The only thing I find sad about Tolkien is that his bad guys are all just... bad.
Like even horrible people have good sides. That's a thing every writer has to take in account. He never did XD

The reason for that was that Tolkien was putting a bit of religious symbology in his books,
If you read the silmarillion, the prequel to lord of the rings its a bit more obvious,

Villains with a bit of good can really help to make the interesting and stops them being two dimensional characters
