My first project from my screen-printing class! The first method our professor taught us was to make stencils to transfer our designs onto the paper. Bad Romance came up on loop on my iTUNES, and that's when the idea hit me!Everything you see on the print was cutout by hand by me. It was a tedious process, but it paid off in the end! I cut out a stripe background, and silhouetted her sunglasses and crown from the beginning of the music video. And yes, the typography was also cutout by hand. I've already realized I'm nuts. It's in Gotham, because my new computer doesn't have Avant Garde. Bummer.
I used a metallic silver for the background, and the simple red and black combo. I wanted to keep it very graphic, and high in contrast! It was printed on Arches 88 white.

There's a mistake: it is "J'ai ton amour et je veux ta revanche" because "revanche" is a "female noun"
