This is a self-portrait that was inspired by the beautiful strand of pearls that my mother gave me for Christmas this past year. <3A little different from my usual, but hey, you've got to try new things every now and then. :3

It's funny, but I never draw in this style simply because it's way too easy. If I'm drawing one of my favorite characters, though, that's way harder, since I'm trying to uphold someone else's aesthetic standards; therefore, I tend to go for the more challenging subject.
BUT. *inhale* I may have to submit some things like this from time to time. xD
