You couldn't help your feelings for him even though you knew he loved Alexis. You just couldn't get your mind off of him, despite the fact that you knew you were no match for her, and that he was your best friend's rival. You just couldn't get Chazz Princeton off of your mind, no matter how hard you tried. You remembered when he wasn't such a bad guy to you, but that was before the academy, so it's all in the past. You sighed before being brought out of your thinking of him from Jaden waving his hand in front of your face. You looked upn to see what he wanted and he gave you a not so normal worried look saying, "Hey ----------, everything okay in that smarty head of yours?"

"Everything's fine, Jaden. Just daydreaming again is all," you said with a smile that just felt way too fake for your tastes but somehow managed to get Jaden to drop it as the bell rang and his stomach grumbled. You rolled your eye at the same time as Syrus and started heading to the cafeteria for lunch when Alexis came running down saying, "______! You won't believe what I just heard!"

"Woah, calm down Alexis. Take a deep breath and then tell me," you said after sweatdropping and calming your friend down.

You all started walking down to the cafeteria again when Alexis said, "Somebody keeps saying that Chazz is trying to find a girl, but hasn't even given't out a hint as to who she could be except for being a friend of Jaden's."

You managed to roll your eyes while on the inside you're saying, 'It's you, of course. Chazz has barely even talked to me and nobody knows that I like him.'

You also smacked Jaden upside the head for pretending to gag saying, "You never learn, do you Jay?"

He rubbed his head where you smacked him and asked, "Why are we friends again?"

You rolled your eyes and said, "Someone has to be able to take your ego down a few notches."

"______'s got a point there, Jay. Anyway, why tell us this, Alexis?" Syrus said while you all entered the cafeteria.

She rolled her eyes and said, "Since this girl goes to our school, we'll have to see Chazz, especially if this girl likes him back."

"But who in their right mind would like Chazz if we're friends with Jaden? Honestly, that's a fire that I don't want burning," you said before sitting down and saying, "And it's really obvious that neither of us are gonna stop being friends with Jaden. Although I do wonder how we can stand him at times."

"Hey! I take offense to that," Jaden said with a fake pout.

You rolled your eyes and said, "Good, because you were meant to. Now if you'll excuse me, I gotta go call my parents before they think something bad happened to me and come to the academy." You weren't kidding, either. If your parents didn't hear from you once a week, they'd come to the academy to make sure you were okay. You learned that the one time you did forget and they were here looking for you. Let's just say that your mom was in hysterics and you hid in your dorm whenever you didn't absolutely have to go somewhere. You called your parents and then decided that you should get started on that homework, so you started heading to your dorm.

It's been about a month since then and you couldn't shake the feeling that you were being watched but whenever you took a look around, nobody was paying anymore attention to you than they usually would. You were walking down to your dorm room when you found a note taped to your door. You took a look at it and then ran with it to your friends in the cafeteria thinking, 'Please say this is Jaden's idea of a joke.'

You went over to your friends and slammed the note on the table saying, "Honest to Ra tell me this is a joke."

Alexis took a look at the note and then looked over to Jaden saying, "Well, is it?"

Jaden took the note and his eyes widened before he said, "I wish I could say it was, ______, but it seems like your Chazz's little crush."

You banged your head on the table and think 'Right when I get over him, too. Couldn't he have done it sooner?'

You felt like you were being stared at again and this time turned to see black hair and then the cocky face of Chazz Princeton. You banged your head against the table again and said, "Someone kill me now."

You heard him say, "Everything okay, ----------? I figured you of all of your buddies would at least consider it."

You looked up pnly to send him a scowl and say, "Sorry, not interested. Why not go take one of your fangirls?"

He leaned down so that you were face to fac before whispering in your ear, "Meet up with me in the library after school's over. Then we can talk."

He left just as you made a fist and was about to punch him in the face. Jaden and Syrus managed to hold you back before you actually did do that as Jaden said, "Aren't you the one who's supposed to keep me from beating him up?"

You took one look at his retreating form and saw that he had swiped your deck carrier and left a note saying: Just to make sure you do come.

You only huffed and said, "You'd want to punch him too if he just took your entire deck."

Jaden looked at you and shock as you held up the second note Chazz left you as you said, "He wants me to meet him in the library after school."

After much convincing to Jaden that you could handle it on your own, you walked into the library after school had ended and you sat down saying, "Alright I'm here. Now give me ALL of my deck back."

He smirked before sitting down and sliding your carrier across to you. You opened it and took out your cards, knowing your deck like the back of your hand nowadays. Once you were sure that you had all of your cards, you asked, "What was the point in stealing my deck in the first place?"

"Like it said in the note, I really do like you, alot. I was just pretending to like Alexis to make you jealous. And I was wondering if you liked me back considering you are one of the very few girls who didn't try anything," he said. You were pretending to think for a second because you realized you never really did get over him and sighed before standing up and walking around the library looking at the various books, trying to get him to crack. It worked when only two minutes later he had pinned you against the wall and kissed you, and you kissed back just as the doors burst open and Alexis fell inside the library, Jaden and Syrus right behind them. You and he had somehow made a code during that very brief kiss as you "shoved" him off of you before helping your friends up before they started heading out of the library. You were the last one and before you closed the door you gave him a wink and left a note on a nearby table saying: Of course I like you. Meet me here later.

You were waiting in the library again when you saw Chazz come in and said, "Took you long enough, Princeton."

He chuckled before saying, "Now where were we?"

You rolled your eyes and kissed him this time. Let's just say that you both had agreed on keeping this relationship a secret and then left to your separate dorms after a fun makeout session.
