Description
before i get started with my 2023 Reboot of my project, here are ALL the animals and characters left after Roxafox and Deathfire-ARPG 's characters have gone back to their creators' accounts, including animals i've had on the back burner for a million years who have never had references made or never been drawn before so this will be a temp ref for all of them until they get moved to wherever they end up getting moved to, ahem.

also was some practice for what sort of art style I want to start using but I only have some vague ideas of cute chibies for the ponies and sheep and sort of a magical elegant unicorn-ish fantasy-ish design for the TBs. the realistic anatomy style has been too stressful for me. I have a problem with trying to get stuff perfect and whatnot, so I decided I should use a less realistic more fantasy style and go with a more magical dreamlike atmosphere for my project so I don't drive myself crazy researching tedious minor details no one cares about for hours and trying to make everything logically work and stuff since that's been killing the fun for me and I end up stuck in a corner because if you think about anything long enough, NOTHING completely "makes sense" or works scientifically/realistically because you're doing FICTION, it never happened, and you can't really ever 100% make it look like it actually did happen because it didn't happen and it's just driving me crazy. @_@ so realistic anatomy style = constantly bothered by mistakes and needing it to be completely perfect to the point I feel like I have to trace everything so it will be exactly right, but when I switch to a more fantasy sort of story book/"birthday card" style, then my brain starts whining because "that's not what a horse looks like. that's a deer. just draw deer if you want to draw like that." and so on. it's always bugged me that horses are so poorly represented in animated movies and whatnot, the deer/hound-shaped horses and all that, and I don't like when people breed real life animals to look like artwork so you get deformed chibi ponies and hound/deer-shaped horses in real life, so now i'm conflicted about doing the exact thing that always annoyed me. so I just don't know what to do and I'm just frustrated and can't decide what to do. I just want to LIKE my own art and not constantly find faults with it or feel like it's cringey or like it's too much like someone else's style/not really my own, and just, I don't know. it'll just have to evolve over time until I settle on something I like, or give up. I do think it's better to have more magic and imagination in my project. I think that's better for the mental health purposes of the project. It hasn't been working for me to try to make everything make sense or be realistic and research everything I do and always have to stop and find references before I do a picture, etc, and put all that work into pics that I'm just embarrassed about later. it seems like, when something doesn't turn out perfect, it's worse if you were obviously trying really really hard/"trying too hard" and didn't pull it off whereas if it was meant to be what it is and is imperfect on purpose, then it can't be any sort of "failure" or have "mistakes" because it wasn't meant to be perfect. if Picasso's scribble scrabbles somehow got famous then why should I have to feel like all my art has to measure up to some sort of standard? art isn't supposed to be about being perfect or competing to see who has the most watchers/views or whatever. anyway, I have a lot of mental health issues and I want my art to help heal all of that, not make it worse, so the project/art has to change depending on what my needs are at the time.

I started to leave the animals that won't be part of my reboot off this ref, but that will mean they never got any reference at all before being moved to a new owner and that doesn't seem right. there needs to be some evidence that I actually claimed them first before giving them away. also I'm getting super self-conscious about how long it's taken to get refs up for the horses I adopted that aren't ready to enter the storyline/timeline yet >>;

I recall not really using him on my former/original HARPG account (won him as a show prize back in the day) and I feel bad that he's just sort of floating in limbo all forgotten. I may make him some other breed and use Knocknapeasta as his name but not sure at the moment what breed he should be or where to put him. For this temp ref I made him an American Miniature Horse for Celestian or another Serafin at Waterfall Ridge Farms but that may change.
62. 7972 Celarion **** , Nordanner stallion with ridiculous 9th generation pedigree dating back to 2011 (with most original starters being 2012-2013) that I managed to map out with google spreadsheet , adopted from Spring Clearout (OCs/Adopts) because of the name/color being such a coincidence for Celestian, but Celestian is supposed to primarily focus on ponies and after the incident with Rain Dancer I swore off ever doing user-made breeds ever again so I've been hesitant about what to do with him, but I think I will bring him in as the only non-pony among the Serafi population of Waterfall Ridge as a gigantic almost 80hh "emperor's steed" that was given to Celestian as sort of an offering, since he's an archangel, from people who were either thanking him for something or asking him to bless their crops or something or whatever etc. never independently reffed/never drawn

Note 1: Joker Girl and Wildcard are my Breyer models for my "turning my model horses into HARPG characters" project. They belonged to Baby Doll, who was designed by Roxafox but I've been using him for my project here. Roxafox started up his own project and was using Lithium, who was designed by Riku/ Deathfire-ARPG . We've now re-assigned all our characters back to their original creators, which means Lithium when back to Riku but Riku doesn't want the horses she was using at Roxafox's account so Roxafox has to find somewhere else to put them. Baby Doll went back to Roxy but he doesn't want Baby's horses so I have to figure out some sort of story explanation/reason to transfer them to Antimony, one of my own characters, and over at Roxafox's account Baby will get Lithium's horses that Riku doesn't want. @_@

Note 2: I never got around to deciding what to do with the hawks, if they should be wild like the swans or belong to somebody, and Roxafox has first dibs if I decide to give them away/sell them or first pick of the babies if I decide to breed them.
