It is Pi Day and two of my math major friends are getting married! And I can't make it. Sad day. ;w;Yes, it is today because they were both math majors.

I don't feel like I captured the extremely tall-and-lanky-ness of the groom properly, but oh well.

Today also happens to be the birthday of my math major bff for whom I once drew a plushie!Ryoma from Prince of Tennis.
Oh, and I don't watch "Say Yes to the Dress" like my current roommate does, so I still have no idea how to draw wedding dresses . Opera gloves are a must though lolol XP

Actually, I've never seen him in the math department (but I know A LOT of people, so I was like "...You're a math major?" XD)
We met at aikido (japanese martial arts); he's the president there and my friend recruited me to it XD So that's how we met XD

Math, because I just like it and it is needed in a lot of different places, also because it's sort of the language of science
Aikido, because I wanted to do material arts and someone recommended it

Math, because I always wanted to be a math teacher.
Aikido, because my friend asked me to come see him in the aikido demo, and there was him doing some aikido with this really cute guy (now my bf XD), and that's why I started, to see the cute guy (and I wanted to start something new because bad things happened right before that) XD

Wow, different cultures/countries, different ways/approaches for schooling! I learned something new today!
Tbh, it's more common for people to find out what they want to do after graduating high school, and sad reality, even after that lots of people still don't know.
I think in the recent years, there are more people getting degrees 'because they enjoy it', but they have no idea what to ACTUALLY do with the degree and have hard time finding good jobs that has to do with their majors. So many people end up getting jobs that had nothing to do with their degree, which I feel like is wasteful, but oh well :/

In class (Calc III). Or the department part of freshmen orientation. I'm not sure. Our school is pretty small, so everyone knows everyone else. XP

ah ic. The school I'm at right now is medium-sized, I suppose. About 13-14,000 students? I'm not really sure.
Awkward to know everyone? Hmm, maybe. I'm antisocial, so sometimes I will behave like the second paragraph in this . I think it's most awkward when two ppl in the same friend group date (or end up having the same friend group cuz they do date) and then break up. I've been fortunate to not have been in that situation personally (though I have a couple friends who have gone through that), but yeah... awkward.... ._____.

From what I heard, the wedding was really cute and short and there were pies. Thar were cupcakes.
