Description
It's September? Screw it, post a summer drawing anyway.Been working on this on and off for a little while in-between freelancing and commission work. I wanted to try something different with my shading and highlights (mainly NOT use black and white with the opacity lowered for once)... I think I can say I'm actually happy how this turned out.

Really nice to see you using shadows that aren't black. That's usually frowned upon in art circles. 
Fiona's a bit off-balance. Her straight leg should be moved back a bit. Everything else looks good. Nicely done with this!

yeah, I've heard about it a lot and decided to break out of the norm, at least when doing single images like this and not comics or animations where people don't seem to mind/care as much.
and in hindsight, you're right about that leg, I might reposition it a little later.
I was also thinking about tossing in Eve in there, but wasn't sure what kind of swimsuit would best suit her D:

I think for comics and animation, it's actually better to use darker, cooler tones from the base colour.
It's fun to experiment with colours. I should do it more often myself. -3-
Eve would probably just wear a simple light blue two-piece. Possibly with swim trunks, I think. I know I've drawn her in a two-piece on more than one occasion. I just didn't post the most recent one.

two piece with swim trunks... actually, that's a rather unique idea and it totally works for the tomboy personality. Definitely gonna have to throw her in with that in mind :3
the usual bikini or one-piece swimsuit ensemble was feeling a little repetitive and had I had Michelle not behind Fox, I thought of her wearing one of those beach skirts.

I made sure the swimsuits were unique for the characters showcasing their personalities, Tatiana I don't think would be girly enough to wear a skirt and I figured Vixen is more likely to want to show off, as Katt wouldn't want to have anything in the way of having fun and Fiona wouldn't want to be caught dead in one... I figured Michelle, while not exactly girly, would probably be more conservative wanting to be more modest.
