Lol. None of my characters have last names, although I am not sure if I should fix that or not. Anyway, she appears to be a soldier of some kind, maybe not full military since she doesn't have a uniform on.

That depends on the story. Sometimes it's unimportant, useless and makes people confused - especially if the names are created by an author and are hard to say (for example Elvish ones).

Rose is a sharpshooter, member of some (secret?) crime-fighting organisation. Either this, or he is a hired gun. She looks like a guy now... maybe she is cross dressing because she doesn't want some people from her company to know her true identity.

That's right, she hides her identity and gender. But she works for an army, as soldier and sniper. Her team fight with monsters (and sometimes with rebels).

haha she looks like a sniper of some sort, I wouldn't say for any organized military because of the lack of a really official looking uniform. Maybe for some kind of vigilante/underground fighter group? Judging by her clothes and hair, she's practical, no-nonsense and no-frills. She also looks like she's wearing something like a bulletproof vest, so she must see more combat than just sniping.
And, she looks a little hesitant here. Reluctant to follow orders, maybe she just doesn't like fighting? Can't wait to see more!

Hmm, Rose appears to be a military sniper, maybe part of a special group similar to the Army's Rangers or Navy's Seals, etc. She seems very young and inexperienced and uncertain as to what she is looking at or for. I wonder what mission she is on in this picture? Are there other members of her group staked out on rooftops? I would guess yes, that she is currently paired on a mission with an older, experienced member of her group who also may be a mentor figure. She also is very boyish in appearance, which may be due to her military unit's restrictions or may be a personal taste.
I really can't wait to find out more about her!!

That's right. Her team deal with the monsters (mainly). Probably in this case too. She's alone on this rooftop, her mates are somewhere in a building (trying to find the monster and make him go out) or on the street below. They communicate with walkie-talkies (which I didn't draw XP) so she's told what to do and how to react.
Indeed, she's in her early 20s. She hides her gender.

Rose looks very tough and I guess she assimilates perfectly to her surroundings. (I am not sure, if she has to hide the fact that she is a woman, or if it is just her style or something else)
I´d guess she is a skilled shooter, nevertheless something is odd with the task she has to perform here.

Hmm.... I've been curious about Rose since her enrollment picture. She doesn't care to appear much like a girl, and I wonder if she's intentionally hiding her gender. Perhaps with the field she works in, she wouldn't want to appear feminine. 
Anyway. Rose is on assignment... and I'm thinking an assassination mission; though whether she's working for military or a private outfit or even acting alone, I don't know. Maybe she's already shot her target, and feeling remorse for ending a person's life? The expression suggests that she's feeling something, empathy, even regret?

Yes. She hides her identity including gender. I know it doesn't look like but it's indeed a military outfit. Though the army is poor, they spend most of the money on... other stuff 
She's empathic person and has some things to regret, so it's possible. I didn't think about what she looks at, when I was drawing

Hmm this is intriguing, since she seems to have a complicated background... She is surely a sniper now, in the military perhaps. Has she changed her identity? Is she using another name and posing as a man (has changed her gender)? If so, perhaps she was forced to do this in order to lose her track an evade some dangerous enemies, maybe even fake her death? In any case, she seems to have had a life full of action and danger!

Rose is definitely a sniper! Looks like one from the modern day and age given the buildings. Her attire seems like military and she's got a bullet proof vest on. Perhaps she's hunting someone at the moment. It could be clouds, but in the background behind the building, it looks like smoke. Maybe a bigger fight is happening below.
She's rather masculine so I have a feeling she's either a tomboy or perhaps transgender? The haircut is nice and fitting for her occupation.

Looks like he could be an Urban combat soldier. Probably specializing in sniping given where he is and what he's holding. Looks like he's either contemplating his past life choices, watching his target walk into range of fire, or just staring of in space.

I suppose that she is not a part of an army, judging from her uniform. Maybe a mercenary or a revolution soldier? I guess she is also an expert for this

She is a sniper in the army. I know her outfit doesn't point it out, but that's because the army is really poor. Rose's just starting her career, but by the start of the main story she's a pro
She's probably looking at a monster or movement in the building in front of her (it's not specified, casue I didn't really think of that while drawing). In the next part of training I'll write something about the world for everyone to have an idea of it

Well...
The whole outfit screams military. And I don't think Ex-military either. I think Rose is still on active duty in one role or another. It's the armoured Vest/T-Shirt. A civilian assassin/sniper wouldn't wear that, they would need to be comfortable for a great length of time, often hours until the shot presented itself. The presence of the vest says they are expecting to take return fire or even close combat with knives etc.
The haircut is short, functional but still very military.
And yet, I don't see any badges or insignia to denote organisation or rank.
Maybe Rose has gone rogue?
The other thing that stands out for me is the rifle. Everything else says modern era, but the rifle design is sort of ancient. And I think that's an important clue somehow. It's a bolt action rifle that takes a single bullet before reloading. Even going back as far as WWII Rifles carried magazines to allow for multiple shots (well American ones at least, I think we've all seen the Russian equivalent in 'Sniper At The Gates' 
I wonder if it's the conditions she's used to. Perhaps she comes from a very cold/harsh climate such as parts of former Soviet Union (damn! showing my age again LOL), or Alaska or the like. Somewhere the mechanics of a modern rifle might degrade/freeze up but a simple bolt action would be unaffected.
Maybe that particular rifle has a special significance to her?
Or maybe she just liked to go hunting Deer with her father

That's right. She has a role of sniper (only if needed), but she usually fights in closer combats. Knives and guns - sometimes, but mostly claws, venoms and really strong opponents (monsters).

Although she kinda looks hesitant to use her gun. Is she perhaps shooting someone whom she doesn't wanna shoot? Or something else has drawn attention away from her target.
She's out in broad daylight on a roof, so it looks like she's not too, TOO concerned about bieng spotted...
