"When she was the Black Rose Witch, many considered her cold hearted, cruel, and even sadistic in her duels in which her psychic powers would reek havoic on those who dared to challenge her. Izayoi Aki knew this, in fact she encouraged these thoughts about her.

Feeling that, as she would put on her porcelain mask, she had no choice but to enjoy the distruction she caused as the monster she was.

However there was another side of her that Divine knew about and that Yuusei had glimpsed at in the Fortune Cup Duel with her. Within the feared Black Rose's heart, which many thought to be a pure garden of thorns, several frail roses bloomed out of the sight of those who would harm them; protected by that cold and cruel personality that Aki would protray to the world around her.

That small girl who just wanted to be cared about and loved dispite being who she was... What she was, was still there. And, in small moments like when Aki reached out to gently stroke a soft rose petal or run her hands through the leaves of a tree, she would emerge; a hidden rose that bloomed for those who would look hard enough to see."

As promised here's the beginning of some of my Izayoi Aki cosplay WIP shots that were taken at Anime St. Louis.

I know that this isn't a full cosplay shot but I really loved the look of it as I was very suprised at the mock greenery that the hotel had and thought that the dusty rose color really came out thanks to that dark green. Also I thought it would really set the mood for some of the others that I plan on submitting soon.
