Gosh, this is amazing. It's a dragon eye so I love it by default, but the thing that really caught me completely are the colors. I just love the mixture of pinkish red and purple that collide in the iris and the teal dragon scales around ... aw gawd pure eyegasm.
Stunningly beautiful, I'm gonna use this as my dashboard tumblr avatar and I'm definitely crediting you to people who ask about it, I mean, come on now, they need to know about this talent!! Great work, keep it up ^^

I'm still rather surprised at the popularity of this icon. I mean back when I made it it was only supposed to be a random icon for myself on FurAffinity. I only spent like 35 minutes or so in Shi Painter. I guess in a way it's kind of nice to know that I don't always have to try my hardest to make something decent. I doesn't mean that I'm not going to keep trying my best though. hahaha

Time scale doesn't matter, as long as you have the passion and desire to do it, then even something simple and trivial as an avatar can become a masterpiece

I found this icon several years ago, when i didn't know yet DA. I really like it, it's so beautiful! I took the liberty to change colours, i hope it doesn't disturb you :/ if it does, i remove it! Anyway, thank you for this beautiful eye

The good thing about it being an icon is I don't get comments about the work being too small. lol I don't have to explain what an oekaki is too often in this case.

With the white spot; it makes the dragon seem more alive (as if they have energy inside them) and the eye looks much less distinctive without it (looks too flat and cartoon-like). P.S. nicely done!

I'd say without the white spot, it looks more feral and less human, as I would imagine a real dragon to.

Somehow you made me picture a dragon with shiny anime eyes. LMFAO I guess your right though. I think if I was drawing a full body image I probably wouldn't add too much shine.

It's a minor grammatical mistake, I wouldn't worry about it to much
Because every monster in that series had those giant anime eyes... I was reminded of this one blue dragon the main character used to use... I think it was guardian of the fortress or something like that

I guess my memory of the series is not as good. I had to look up the monster to see what you meant. lol When I think of YGO dragons the first thing to come to mind is usually the Blue Eyes White Dragon.

That is the most classic one. My favorite monster was always little kuriboh though... I still remember him using that as a wall of protection. XD So many cute little guys.
