Brace for a rant,

So I've been a Drowtales fan for some time now, a few years actually.
(Wait, what is drowtales you ask? Shame on you! Go to the site- www.drowtales.com/ - and admire it's awesomeness)

In that time I've yet to draw a fan art of one of the main cast. (save contest Luu)
Why not? A few reasons,
- My art sucked

Ok so that's only one reason, but that was a big deal for me.
Here you have a character that is both rich in story n soul and artfully done by a amazing artist. For me to try and capture that in a picture didn't feel possible. At best I felt whatever I drew would be a cheap copy and I felt Ariel, or any of the main cast for that matter, deserved better.

(Dude it's just a fictional character get over it!)
(Yeah, well to me She's a gal I've seen start weak and withdrawn and evolve into a strong-willed stand-up type of gal. So....STFU Dude #1)

In recent times I still have doubts about my art but my awesome friends have been supportive and like,
'Dude your art is cool! No seriously It's not bad! Go for it!'
So you know what? I decided to just go for it.

So I present Ariel, drawn with all the combined skill (or lack of it) that I currently have.
