Autotune can sometimes be used by talented artists who use it for creative effects rather than to cover up their lack of singing talent. Even the shitty autotune music (AKA 95% of it) can be good for a laugh.
Adele is nothing special, Her song topics are cliche and there are a million singers who sound exactly like her (I've never been into low pitched female vocals for the most part, I always preferred higher pitched female singers)

Thank god someone feels the same way. Just about everyone around here thinks Adele is an awesome singer, but I've disliked her voice from the second I heard Rolling in the Deep. It's too raspy and awkard.

That's how I felt about Lady GaGa. I used to like her but when I travelled to Hong Kong with my family last summer and she's also famous there, I just wish she wasn't popular in the first place and I've heard that her popularity is starting to wane. Sheesh, about time!
