“I used to be embarrassed because I was just a comic book writer while other people were building bridges or going on to medical careers. And then I began to realize: entertainment is one of the most important things in people's lives. Without it, they might go off the deep end. I feel that if you're able to entertain, you're doing a good thing.” -Stan LeeFace front true believers, it finally happened. Smilin' Stan Lee is now gone from our lives. I'm as sad as many comic books fans are hearing this disheartening news, but I'm also enlightened because he left a huge impression to us other than being cameos to multiple Marvel movies. We will always remember him bringing the world with some of the greatest champions he and others like Ditko and Kirby leaped into the pages:
The Fantastic Four, The Mighty Thor, The Invincible Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, The Uncanny X-Men, and of course his best creation who is as great as Superman and Batman, The Amazing Spider-Man.
Let us not continue to mourn of his passing, but celebrate on everything he's done for us. With that said, here's where I pay my love and respect for him.

He was a father to so many abandoned or neglected children. He was more than the king of cameos. He was the patron saint of lost children. Not just those lost in their own troubles, but those affected by issues addressed in the comics he created. Spider-Man is the portrait of a lost child who went on to become a legend. Of all the heroes that Stan created, I feel that Spider-Man may be the one that he put the most and best of himself in.

Stan Lee is never gone cause he will never be forgotten. Like Henson and Disney before him he created heroes and worlds that will live in the hearts and minds of millions. We should all be more like Stan. Be an ambassador for what you love most.
