The only question I've ever had with fan pairings is why the need to combine their names?

No idea think it has something to do with how people combine celbs who are dating's names. In the world of Yugioh shipping they don't combine the name instead they use a representory name like Kaiba x Joey is Puppyshipping and Yami Bakura x Yami Marik is Psychoshipping.

No need to be embarrassed. Lots of people like Chack - including me - and the age hurdle can be jumped by setting the fic/art when Jack is older. Besides, on the show, there are lots of Jack-fangirling-Chase moments, so yeah, it isn't too hard to think that there might be something there on his side, even if Chase constantly scorns him.
Considering that you made this meme, you must feel shame over your pairings a lot, so yeah, these logical arguments might not remove it and allow you to bask guilt-free in the awesomeness. Besides, @evilJack_Spicer on Twitter, who is awesome but in a closet barricaded by a wardrobe (if you get what I mean), probably'll get you back in this mood again if you read what he says about the pairing. Matter of fact, his reaction does resemble the one of Jack in 6.
Anyway, what I should have said, instead of devoting paragraphs to suggesting a shame-free lifestyle, is 'this is awesome!' You really are a great artist, and the lines are smooth, which I always like. So yeah... This is awesome! Feel free to feel the Chack love! Shame-free lifestyle!
