Another favorite piece of mine. A very good friend asked me to draw him a blue tiger for his birthday, and it just so worked out that I could use the picture for my AP Studio Art class as a part of my concentration (I'm in the 2D category).MMMmmm you gots to love a blue tiger!
Tools used: pencil, colored pencil, ink, and water-based blenders

Oh my god you have a blue tiger! Maybe it was you who inspired mine.. because I remember looking through your gallery a while ago. And for some reason shortly after I had this blue tiger in my head and I had no idea why. So I went with it and drew one. Going through your gallery again tonight and this catches my eye and I'm reliving deja vu. Whoa. Maybe the blue tiger idea that flew through my head a week ago was actually my memory trying to recall this painting.
I guess I didnt realize how much your art impacted me that day. I also drew a rainbow butterfly with eyes that I did as sort of a practice after seeing all your butterflies. I wouldnt post that unless I actually obtained some kind of approval or permission from you, being that you were the person I had in mind when drawing it.

Uncomfortable? No way! What a compliment it is to hear that your art has impacted someone (especially art done almost 2 years ago).

Ohh thank you, Ah I feel so much better getting that off my chest. I get nervous when I post something I know was directly influenced from someone else, even tho Its my own rendering of the idea. There is just so much good art out there to be inspired by <3 I'd like to learn a little bit of everything one day, so I can broaden my range of skills. I guess it makes sense being I am a self taught artist to learn from the people I think might already have the skills... thats how teachers teach new things to kids in school, really, by examples from the masters and then they encourage the kids to do their own work based upon the example from that day.

Aw, crap, You'll never believe this, I was editing it and I accidentally deleted it, and then I couldnt re-upload it because I already trashed the file from my computer. I gotta re-scan it and I dont own a scanner so I gotta take it somewhere, and Im wondering if I should even bother now, hmm... Wow did I ever fail at this.

Ohh if this couldnt get any more embarassing... Im looking through your gallery again now wondering where in the heck the butterflies went.. maybe it wasn't you who drew the butterflies? Or did you delete them? Ahhhhh now I gotta track down another person and tell them about the butterflies... Ohh man what have I gotten myself in to! Good thing I failed at the submission or else I probly REALLY would have embarassed myself. Ohhh if only deviantart could delete comments, LOL, i am such an air-head. However I wasn't confused about finding your art inspirational! I know that for sure
