Although the water goddess Veruna was spared from the curse inflicted upon the gods with the fall of Creation. The curse striked her people,the Merfolk,transforming part of them into vile Naga. Casted out by their goddess who could not tolerate the Cannibalism Naga were posessed with,they searched for a new Deity,the sea serpent demi-god Leviathan brought Naga under him. Leviathan sunked ships and drowned countless humans providing food for his worshipping people. Seing as this was slow and uneffective. He captured a few humans from ships,sucked their souls out with his hlaf-god powers and confined their soulless bodies in the Naga towns. There thy are nothing more but soulless cattle, they are taken care of to breed,grow and be eaten. A few chosen ones,mainly women were saved by Leviathan and given a degree of consciousness to take care of Leviathan's children. These are the levia maidens
