Gigantic,Heavy,desert creatures.they flow through sand using two pair of large fin-like legs(back pair under sand on the pic) and the back fin is used to divide the sand for the torso to keep it from being pulled under. Blamed for creating quckisand pits when nesting. He is a friendly creature and almost never agressive,he only gets in fight for a female,easily tamed therefore used for transportation for the tribes of desert kobolds,shokais and nekos. Dislikes Harpies since they tend to steal the eggs from the whale's nests.Related content

that one bears a striking resemblance to a Fastitocalon from Final Fantasy VIII. Those are also a fish-like creature that moves through the sand.

they looked too cartoony..most enemnies in ff8 look too cartoony...

ya you're right. Wow when I first saw FFVIII, I thought the characters were just so amazingly real I was surprised that anyone had managed to pull it off with today's technology. I didn't even know the game was already like 3 years old at the time. But now I've seen better and I can tell the diference. The FFVIII characters also don't seem to have a specific race, (with the exception of Raijin perhaps) they are more like generic white humans. I'll bet that was their aim in fact. Also if I look hard enough, I can see asian features on everyone, notably on the eyes. Probably a mistake because of the large number of asian workers I'd assume.

well ff7 didnt have the races either,just nations of mixed skin colored people,but the main thing was those ppl had CHARACHTER,even the npc's..which is so not the case in ff8.
the asian chars are conincidental since the base of its design is and always was anime.

I think the FFVIII characters have character, just maybe not as much as the FFVII characters. And some are a little weird (like Fujin and Raijin) ya know? ya know? ya know? FIND! KILL! GO!
