THE TRIALS OF THE SOUL…
I bid farewell to Golza and Melissa, and wish the best for them. I entered the cave and in an instant I am forced to my dragon shape. “Welcome back you curse!” was the first thing I heard. Before me stands the Tracker, I also sensed some animals. He let me know that he seen me coming, and knows that I am a “blind punk”, so he has prepared everything I need to regain my sight. This was something I was not prepared for. He wanted me to follow him to a room. While we were going to this room, I could hear people either praising my return, or cursing my existence. That was expected in ways, but I never asked for this. The Tracker let me know that he had a lot to say to me that I most likely won’t like, but that’s life; you have to accept what is handed or said to you. As soon as we got to the room, I got slashed by an animal, which somehow pierced my scales badly. I couldn’t help but scream, for this felt even worse than that time I got my wing shot off when I had gone berserk, and that was painful indeed! What ever the animal was, it did a pounce take down and had me pinned. All of a sudden mad pain had rushed through me, for it felt like this beast was slowly melting into my skin. I could hear the Tracker laughing madly as I screamed. It felt like I was being bitten hard from within all over my body. But as I screamed I noticed that something blurry forming it front of me. It seemed that as this beast melted deeper into me, the more things were getting clear, but the pain was insane. This pain was making me cry wild, but all of a sudden I feel a very powerful bite snap upon my arm. I scream more as I feel blood leave me. The pain gets even sharper now, for the biter slowly melts into my body like the first beast did. So now this melting pain intensifies. I was so sure I was going to die, as I thought of nothing but of “her” and my children. I could just see that bastard Tracker laughing at me. That’s when I realized that I had my sight returned to me, not all of it, but it was coming back. I could show no form of rejoice, because I was busy on the floor in searing pain. I then had seen a white wolf walk near my leg. I knew something bad was about to happen, especially after hearing the Tracker say this is the best part… The wolf ripped into my leg, biting with such ferocity. The pain had amplified even more, so much to the point where I felt faint… I could hardly scream any more, but the tears fled from my head. The weird thing about this wolf was that it did not melt into me like the other creatures before this one. I think it was drinking my blood… Before I could further question the wolf’s attentions, a purple raven like bird landed on my chest. I knew I was bird food now… I just started picturing my kids beating down the Tracker as more pain begun. The bird picked violently at my chest and seems to do the same thing the wolf was doing; drinking my blood… The last thing I saw was that bastard Tracker smiling at me… I hoped that I was not dying… But the pain was too much to bear…

THE TRIALS OF THE BODY…
I later awake to see the Bird and Wolf sleeping by me. For some reason I felt so good and full of energy. I had seen no signs that all that had happened to me were real or not. Weirdly I felt very connected to this Bird and Wolf, like we shared the same life force or something. I then realized that they were now black like me. As I stood up, the bird awoke and jumped on my shoulder. The wolf left this feeling that was letting me know it would lie there a little longer. I had this interesting feeling that these two were now my friends for the rest of my life. The Tracker walks in with his evil smile. He tells me that I now have the souls of a lion and a snake with in me, so that I see in the night and see heat signals. He then tells me that the wolf and bird are mine now, and through them I will be able to see from their point of view, but then he warns me that they are linked to me, so I have to make sure that they do not die, or I will lose some of myself as well. The Tracker also let me know that we are all capable of using each others skills, so that means my bird and wolf have the “moon” and “mirror” within them. I decided that they needed names, so I called the Wolf, “Eclipse” and the Bird, “Soul”. The Tracker seemed to like those names and said that he had a good name for me, being that I was no longer the “Silver Moon Reflection.” I was having fun looking through the eyes of Soul and Eclipse, and seemed that they were having fun look through my eyes also. The cool thing about this is that we can talk to each other from within. Eclipse is a female and Soul is a male. Hmm I wonder what my kids would think when they see them. So after getting familiar with me “Familiars”, I felt it was time to ask my questions. I wanted to know how and where my love is. I also wondered if they met and what about. I hope she is still living…

Before I could open my mouth, the Tracker spoke up and told me to stop being selfish and take real responsibility! Right away I was like, “what?” He then tells me to stop wasting my life looking for a girl who cares more about riches than her own children! Once again I am like, “what?” “Think about it blade, you have not seen her for years, for even when you stayed with your kids for months, she would never turn up.” How right he was about that… “Even if she were coming back, how do you know that she doesn’t have her tribe keep quite about her coming there?” Already I felt that I should stop him but maybe it is good to hear what he has to say. I know that the Tracker is good with mind games, but his games always have a good amount of truth to them, because they are deep reality checks. “Her not telling you that she is coming by, could easier mean that you don’t matter to her anymore!” I hate that his words have points to them, but… “Think about it Blade! You really fell for her; you loved her with your heart, where she was almost always following her mating cycle and her own selfish desires! You are wasting your living breath on a treasure loving wench! She has moved on, so you need to follow suit. You came here to find her, but your time is wasted. I WILL tell you, she is alive! She is somewhere in this world searching for riches and relics. I can tell that no matter what I tell you, you will not stop loving her, and I will not control your feelings.” I just stand there thinking about all that has happened between us, all that was said, and even the times where she would leave for weeks. But I really wonder what was on her mind when she was being poisoned by that demon soul inside, that’s when she really started disappearing. She would share nothing much with me, but I thought it was because of her pride! She never liked showing any sign of weakness. “Blade, you need to stop worrying about her now. You have a real terrible crisis that you must fix, because it is your fault it happened.” Right away he has my attention. He looked at me with a real serious look upon him. “I am not sure you knew this, but since you are no longer Silver Moon, all of your barriers have died. I am sure you know what that means, yes?” I had no idea what he was talking about; I took down all of my barriers to my knowledge. “IT’S YOUR SPEAR, YOU DUMBASS!!!” I flipped out at the memory behind the “Black Plague”. How could I forget about the barrier behind that cursed spear of mine! “The humans as well as some of the other breeds in and around that broken city have been killed off, changed, or became host for your illnesses that emanate from the weapon of yours” I really felt like a failure now, This was the reason I hid from the world, because every time I show myself, something from me destroys pieces of this world. I need to undo this curse, save the people who have not died and return to my children… I then think that I will take them to my void, and teach them in the ways of Renshear and Susama… Graaa, I could not think straight any more, for my minds full of “her” and all of the souls I have troubled. I silence the Tracker and without hesitation I prepare to head to my old home. The Tracker stops me and tells me that when I stop this that he will tell me the complete story on my love… Eclipse and I start running as Soul flies ahead of us. I thought about what the Tracker said, but I believe that “she” has not forgotten me. I will think about moving on without here, but I would like to see her and hear her side at least…

THE “BLACK PLAGUE” STORY… [Flashback]
When I was younger, I would always get beat up by the other “pure” dragons because I was a curse dragon. One thing I noticed was that some dragons had weapons that would contain some of their power. So I felt that if I had a weapon that could inflict sickness and cruses upon the ones I attack, then I would be able to defend myself, even better; I could be a leader! I wanted to have a sturdy weapon so I did my research and came across a rare alloy that was rumored to be on the Sand Continent. So my sister Mykio and I journeyed to the Sand Continent in hopes that this was more than a rumor. Once we got upon the sands oceans, we dug deep until we found a small bundle of Shiny black rocks. We had no idea if it was this alloy or not, but we took the little we found back home. Being that my family line was a blacksmith family, Mykio, Susama, and I started to forge for days on a spear that I would soon tap my power into. I was quite hard to shape this alloy, but once we did get it the way we wanted it, we felt it was time to forge my power into it. I had taken a scale from my body, and we forged it into my spear. This spear carried a wonderful black luster to it. I was so happy that I would be able to fight back in a great way now. One day when a fight broke out, I unleashed my weapon and hit someone else with it, and all of a sudden the blade started to glow a horrible glow. This glow formed a fast wrapping mist that shot across the whole area. Almost everyone in that area died or got real sick. All different kinds of painful looking sicknesses covered the mountain range. I was beaten severely by those that survived and exiled to a broken city underground miles deep until my curse did not reach the entrance. Down here were humans that were hiding from all the pains of up above. Sadly I was getting them sick because of my spear. But I decided to give all the humans down here my scales, to protect them. Time had passed, and I left the spear down here, so that I could go find a Barrier Mage to contain the curse. I instead came back as the Silver Moon Dragon and formed a barrier with me newly found skills. With the barrier formed, most returned to me my scales. I had no idea that the barrier had a rule to it. [End flashback]
