I really got thinking about Nina these few months that have passed, hence why I've delayed pursing my love for Xiaolin Showdown.

I realize now I wasn't content with her at all I just played it like I was.
I never gave her development or depth. I can't even see why anyone liked her so much other than she was just drawn okay in the Xiaolin Showdown style. Which shouldn't be the only reason you ever like something if it has no meaning, what's the point?

That's why she's going through major changes, her along with Zane.

Her outfit was inspired by the character of Avatar The Last Airbender Song, - > [link]

Why? Because I found her timid nature to match Nina's very well, no I'm not basing Nina off from her but the idea of a healer came from Song along with the outfit a traditional Korean clothing known as, Hanboks

Anyway I'm re-doing her character sheet currently I can almost guarantee a much better result.

I like your coloring and the effect you gave her clothes : D It really suits her.

I think you shouldn't be too hard to yourself (and Nina) because I know
she's your beloved first OC and in that case she's a lot like you are.
Well, that's what I think because it's the same with me and Sanny.

People like her because she actually shows a lot of personality. You don't just give Raimundo to her because she's just awesome and he has to be deeply in love with her.

Without that fact I never would have respect Nina as the person she is now (and was back then) because that's what makes a OC a mary-sue. And she definitely not a m-s!!
(Because I love Rai as you do and you know how much t hurts to see him with some random mary-sue-chick!!)
I think it's important to change your (first) OC. That's part of changing yourself and maturing. But don't think she's wrong the way she is and AHS to be changed.

If I'm wrong with the things I said, I'm sorry...It's jsut I wanted to say thins to you because I feel the same way sometimes.

This really made me give a second thought to my feelings for Nina, I shouldn't be so hard on her because I gave her traits of myself, course I'm hard on myself anyway, but watching her mature is such a beautiful process, I shouldn't undermine it.

I don't like Raimundo with characters he shouldn't be with when he's with characters just because the creator finds him hot gives me a little bit of heartache because there's more to him than that.
