Tinker doesn't mind getting down and dirty whether she's helping Sonika deal with Dr Eva or just tinkering with her planes and gadgets. What she don't like is getting dressed up or acting pretty. Chip feels that she needs to look more like a girl than a tomboy and even though he don't mind her dressing up like a tomboy he does mind if she look good.

One day, Chip surprised her by making her a flower crown and Candy put it on her head. Tinker was flattered and it was sweet of Chip but she feels embarrassed and uncomfortable. She was about to remove it when Chip grab her hands and told her she look cute with it on and that she should dress more nicer so others can see her the way he does. This made Tinker smile, though embarrassed but she appreciate the gesture that he did for her
