Akane is a recreation, redrawn looking at the ranma 1/2 manga, can't remember the exact volume right now, buts it was the chapter with the battle dogi and ranma and akane are in the closet?
Anyway, after the drawing process was finished, for some reason I just wanted to color Akane's hair brown. I wasn't sure how it would turn out once finished, but I think it looks okay. I did get a little lazy and didn't feel like adding a lot of lighting, or shine to her hair.
