Although this was not shown in "Simba's Pride", but I think it was possible to highlight Kovu's feelings about Zira's death a little more strongly (of course, taking into account the fact that he is her own son, not adopted) by showing similar micro-scenes. Kiara felt the feelings of her beloved about the death of her mother and encouraged her. Without words and unobtrusively.
