Guess who just caught up on the comics; yeah me.The Nightmare Rarity chapter has to be my all time fav story arc so far of the entire MLP verse. I couldn't help myself but to draw her instantly after finishing.
This is also a bit of an example of what the profile badges look like for EF pre-orders , though this is insanely detailed thanks to all that hair.

I'm planning to do all the monarchs in this style as proper paintings most likely after EF when I'm not cramming to get Canon Pony badges done.

Lately I have really grown to love the nightmare rarity work that is out there! However, I believe that this particular piece goes above and beyond what I have seen so far! This piece looks to be hand drawn which is quite impressive! I also really love the line work as well as your style and approach to creating the beautiful character design and frame! Her mane flows freely and the way you posed her really resonates with her evil, yet classy character. The color work is also brilliant and brings out your exquisite shading and subtle lighting!
