Ever since things went downhill and most of the monsters lost their souls,
he changed... significantly....

Now, due to the lack of magic, he's physically stronger, faster, more durable, and above all... more deadly.
He still will crack a pun or two, but his humour became much darker, sarcastic, and cold, finding some sort of comfort in human reactions.
He's easily provoked and will not hesitate to hurt or kill someone if he feels the need to do so.
