Lugias. LOTS of Lugias. EEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!So yeah, I am a Lugia collector, and this is my collection as of 24/10/09. I'm mainly focusing on plush at the moment, but once I've got most/all of them I'll start moving onto other merch.
The grail of my collection would be the Giant Lugia Plush. I officially started my search sometime in August. I predict I'll be searching for a long time though.
Anyone willing to sell me a plush (especially Giant Lu), I will gladly make an offer!

As a Brit, I have to source almost all of my collection from the US or Japan. Very rarely does Lugia merchandise get released here.

Absolutely, he he. I live in the land of IKEA you know.
I use plenty of their furniture and items, they're affordable and reliable for the most part. Plus, you get to put your stuff together yourself with the help of a manual!

I'm actually curious how much you'd actually pay right now for one .. since I have one, I dunno how much it would take for me to sell it, probably nothing.. but in all seriousness, how much would you offer me on the spot right now?

If you arent going to sell it, you shouldnt take offers. For some people, this plush is a huge deal and it sucks to think you may have a chance, only to be turned down

I clearly said to him I was only curious about how much he'd pay for one. Then I decided to explain myself a little better by comparing it to a senario and saying "if I was selling mine, what would you pay me right now", I was not taking offers at all! I'd NEVER take offers on my plush! No offence taken by the way but as you can see, he very obviously knew what I meant.

I still do not see the point of saying something like that to someone, especially knowing owning that plush is one of their major collection goals, you know? To me, it just looks like a tease, or perhaps even bragging, thats all I was pointing out. I did not say Soul took offense to it, as obviously I'm not going to speak for them, I'm just noticing in general that you are suddenly interested in asking around to people who you KNOW want that plush.

I could have swore I saw you asking for what people would pay for your lugia on a poll on your site, and then I saw this comment... It just strikes me as weird that you'd ask at all if you arent willing to sell the plush. I'm not the only one who thinks it's a very weird thing to be asking, but if you don't see it that way, then I guess it's irrelevant.

Nope you're slightly mistaken, there was a poll I think.. two years ago asking what people would pay for a giant Lugia plush (not necessarily mine) I think..
I'm sorry I just don't see it as weird, I am generally interested in Lugia merchandise and how much they're worth etc. I'm a bit of a nut in that sense and do that kind of stuff all the time, the real question was how much would people spend right at that very second if they could, I mean the answer to that is fascinating to me (really) but I totally didn't mean to come across as teasing or wanting to sell it at all.

I guess I understand that. From what I've seen, people are willing to shell out a LOT of money for any of the giant plush, more money than I think anyone should pay for a plushie. If you even did sell yours, there is no doubt you'd make a ridiculous profit.
