Really love the sense of affection and bond here despite the bloody carnage; the smooth, defined linework help emphasize emotion & the war-torn wounds moreso which rough sketchy lines may have reduced (Rough lines would make the entire piece feel hurt rather than an accentual touch as here). Hope they survive...
