The concept of this character is honestly super friggin weird but I've had and loved him as my greatest son for 4 years now & he's been neglected lately so I remade an actual reference for him
I've only ever drawn his robot form like 3 times because he creeps me out

Long story short he's a species of alien raptor called a Vexro that can shapeshift into 1 second form using a magical stone; Xeron, however, could never shapeshift, but he grows up and lives a normal life w/ a family. As the world is near-anarchy due to a weak government, his family hides away from people.
He likes archaeology and wanders down in these old underground tunnels where he finds a magical robot Xo (a Xorxe) who has the ability to change someone's shapeshift form as well as enchant it to be a stronger robotic version, called Xorxon. She enchants Xeron's stone, allowing him to shapeshift for the first time into his form as a Xorxe (which he had been unable to shapeshift into without an enchantment). In return he helps stabilize the world by killing an asshole named Obsidient who wants to use magical universe-balance dark matter to rule the world after possessing its previous guardian, Xorex. To put an end to anarchist violence, Xeron helps strengthen the government by giving enchantments to the authorities & royals, restoring structured peace to the kingdom. He then becomes the new guardian of the dark matter (requiring him to leave his family) while Xo wanders off to find/revive others of her kind, never to be seen again.

Because Xorxe live for millions of years, Xeron ages much more slowly when in that form, and so stays in it pretty much always. Thousands of years later, it becomes general secret tradition of the Royalty to visit the strange spiky robotic squid thing that lives in the ruins beneath the castle to have their stone enchanted. Eventually the monarchy becomes corrupt resulting in a civil war lead by the princess and her gay gay friend and whatnot which is what the initial dream was actually about

does anyone know this weird eye symbol I used to put everywhere/have as my profile/etc? That's the symbol that represents his species, & later became the symbol of the monarchy.
