im considering ? these ??
they're just . dino dogs. id probably call them Roves or something . because they're raptor . wolves
they'd probably be as an ARPG that would replace my Owlmoths (who I'd like to find a new owner for probably). Basic, default ones will be open for people to create, but then there'd be mutations and other subspecies/body types (based off other dinosaur species) which are more rare.
Their colorations would be a lot less restrictive than the owl moths; no specific markings people have to follow, but there will be only a few free default colors & pattern types (e.g. types of stripes and flecks that you can mostly do what you want with, a lot more freedom in how they can be implemented but people can't go free with unrealistic swirls and tatoos and space colors)
There'd be a lot of mutations and rarer traits such as headresses (like those little nobs the carnotaurus has), feather patterns, and other weird things
also subspecies based off different kinds of dinosaurs, such as a rex-based one with a heavy build but smaller forelegs, a thin & fast carnotaurus, etc . Maybe even Other Dinosaurs like a heavy-built short-tailed Triceratops one with horns, long & tall Stegosaurus-based one with stego spikes, etc

reasons they'd do better & should replace owl moths include the fact that I actually like and would have a lot of fun drawing these, and their more unique appearance means I can give a lot more less-strict variety & customizability to their appearance
now that I've dabbled around in the moth owls i actually know what direction to take these dudes in and how to run them differently/better
