i had never posted the original concept because it was scribbled onto the corner of a sketch page that never got finished, but for a while now I've been leaning towards the idea that arescet's chariot is just. a big pyramid with wings

At first it was a highly threatening but non-invincible war machine, but then the Divinity started using it to hunt down the legendary iron deities one by one. Their power sources--made from a unique divine metal--were extracted and fused together to provide the Chariot with immense strength. Now powered by the salvaged hearts of the 9 deities, the Chariot became a nigh-unbeatable threat capable of razing amounts of destruction mirrored only by the meteor showers in ancient history

ive considered giving it a sort of messed-up sentience; an advanced artificial intelligence bizarrely corrupted by the residual 'souls' of the iron deities whose hearts now power it, creating a somewhat unnerving personality in a device that should've been purely robotic. it speaks with voices it was never programmed to have
