My beloved cheetahs Moonflower and Hayatobimaru, The Sun and The Moon.
Suprisingly, this piece was done by request of my mother. We had been talking about totems and spirit guides, and she'd told me about a particular animal that's always shown itself to her, that animal being a cardinal. When I told her about the few that have shown up and I feel connected to she urged me to draw them. She's always looked at my art, but its rare when she actually asks me to draw something for her or just to draw it because she asked to see. I think this is only the.. third or fourth time actually.

So I took some bristol I'd cut for a prior piece and started to draw Tobi. Once I had him inked I scanned it in and flipped the image in Photoshop and edited it accordingly to be his opposite, who would be Moonie. The background design appears square at first, but the top is actually wider than the bottom and the sides slant in; this was purposely done to make a sort of trapezoid shape. I think I could use a bit more measuring the next time I do this though. XD;;; Layed on the flat colors and then added textures to give it a sort of art deco/art nuevo feel. It turned out well enough for me. <333
